SNA-ACDNP Online Basic & Advanced Training in Dermatology & Wound Courses for Nurses
The basic and advanced training in dermatology and wound course prepares you with essential knowledge in the foundations of dermatology to make contribution to enhance the level of care to dermatology patients.
The program with CPE points to be completed within 6 months covers:
* Online video-based course
* 30 hours plus modular training
* Available articles, webinars, podcast
* Covering terminology, conditions, treatments and procedures in topics essential to dermatological nursing practice
This is an online theory-based training with MCQ & quiz. Once signed up, it is own time own target to complete within 6 months. A certificate of completion will be awarded upon your completion of the course.
SNA members: $1150 per course
Non-SNA members: $1200 per course Course fees must be paid before the course starts.

Dermatology Tracks: George F. Cohen, MD
Dr. Cohen is a graduate of Howard University School of Medicine and completed his Dermatology residency at the Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and Member of the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States.
Dr. Cohen went on to hold positions at various medical institutions including Chief, Dermatology Section Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington DC; Clinical Professor and Dermatology Program Director, Florida State University College of Medicine; Clinical Associate Professor, University of Florida; and his latest appointment, Associate Professor, Department of Dermatology, University of South Florida Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Cohen has published many articles in peer-reviewed journals including Dermatologic Surgery, Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, and Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, among others. He holds numerous military decorations including the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, and the National Defense Medal.
Wound Care Tracks: Rebecca Naughton, MSN, FNP-BC
Rebecca has been working in the field of nursing since she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in professional nursing in 2002 from The University of Vermont and graduated Sigma Theta Tau with her master’s degree as an Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist in 2007. She obtained a post-master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner in May 2015.
Rebecca is a board member of the National Society of Wound Care Practitioners, the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, and Wound Source. She has written articles centered on wound care and regenerative medicine for various online websites.
